If you're a warm-water diver who gets that awful feeling of dry mouth, you are going to love Oasis. Sherwood has developed two, second-stage, moisture-retention fins that keep your mouth cool and comfortable all-dive long. (What a relief!)

First Stage:

Sherwood regulators are engineered for exceptional reliability with proven, fail-safe design features like:

• Dry Spring Chamber and One-way Bleed Valve
  Prevent contamination (sand, salt, silt, petroleum products) and excessive corrosion, improve reliability and help prevent freeze-ups. This means your Sherwood regulator is more reliable on a dive trip, and can help save on maintenance costs.
  
• Moving Orifice and Disk Springs
  Balance the regulator to compensate for changing tank pressure to assure easy breathing from beginning of the dive to the end.
  
• Sherwood's Unique, Patented Air-sensing Channel System
  Sherwood regulators deliver a high-performance boost when you need it. This unique system lets the piston and orifice open wider for increased air flow during peak demand conditions (like deep dives, buddy breathing, artifact salvage, or following a big fish!)
  
• Sherwood's Unique, Replaceable Flow Control Element
  Delivers a precisely metered amount of air to the spring chamber to equalize the spring chamber pressure with the surrounding water pressure. When the air pressure in the spring cavity is higher than the water pressure, a bleed valve lets excess air escape. (Over a 60-minute dive you lose just one to two breaths.) Most regulators let water into the spring chamber to equalize the pressure, which can result in contaminants entering the first stage. This unique Sherwood feature means better performance and longer times between regulator tune-ups, and lower maintenance costs for you.
